Job Description

Olsson offers its clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. Maintaining water quality is Olsson’s number one concern, and we can respond to a broad set of client demands in a timely and cost-effective manner.

As a Senior Engineer on the Water/Wastewater team, you’ll provide high-level technical support and lead QA/QC activities within a team. You will advise on complex projects and apply advanced experiences to independently make recommendations and decisions regarding project design work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level project design and review of project documents and design quality for complex projects.
• Conduct research in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
• Advise and direct staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements.
• Contribute to the development of standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team.
• Supervise and review technical assignments of less experienced staff.

Qualifications

You bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least 8 years of related water/wastewater experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Experience in AutoCAD or other related software experience.
• Experience with modeling software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
