Vitalant is currently seeking a dedicated Lead Clinical Specialist, Registered Nurse to join our team and be a part of our lifesaving mission and vision. The Lead Clinical Specialist plays a pivotal role in performing advanced clinical procedures, which include therapeutic apheresis, stem cell, granulocyte, and lymphocyte collections, under the guidance of a licensed physician.
What to Expect: Schedule: Monday through Friday - Day Shift (start time may vary)
on-call (every third week) once trained
Travel Maryland potentially: MedStar (excluding Washington Hospital Center), Johns Hopkins-satellite and other hospitals in the surrounding Baltimore area. Potential travel to Bethesda, MD.
Travel Washington DC potentially: Children's National, Howard University, Veterans Hospital, Johns Hopkins, Sibley Memorial.

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll get to: - work autonomously in various clinical settings.
- coordinate with physicians and nurses from different hospitals for therapeutic treatments.
- utilize your clinical judgment to ensure appropriate and safe apheresis treatments.

Requirements - Associate's degree required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of rationale and techniques relating to assigned duties required.
- RN license in state of practice required.
- Current CPR certificate preferred.
- Valid driver's license is required.
