Job description
- Designs and performs sophisticated, technically challenging experiments, efficiently and independently.
- Generates effective hypotheses to pursue Project goals and set new experimental directions.
- Makes substantive conceptual contributions to Project activities and scientific strategies.
- Develops novel and creative solutions to overcome Project goal obstacles.
- Identifies broad implications to findings, which transcend the immediate experiment.
- Take on a unique opportunity to assume a managerial position in developing the company's product roadmap in the area of molecular technical expertise.
- Showcase a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product marketing within the IVD industry.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, with a focus on assay development in the IVD industry.
- Strong expertise in molecular diagnostic assay design, optimization, and validation, with proficiency in nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, sequencing, and other molecular techniques.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO) and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards for IVD products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to design and execute complex experiments, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven track record of leading successful projects, delivering results on time and within budget, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
