Summary:
We are actively seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager with a profound understanding of the automotive industry to lead the charge in managing the social media presence of ICON Vehicle Dynamics, a renowned leader in innovative suspension solutions. As the Social Media Coordinator for ICON, your mission will be to elevate our brand through meticulously crafted content, strategic campaigns, and a relentless focus on customer engagement, all within the context of a dynamic and metrics-oriented landscape.
The Social Media Coordinator will be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. This person will have excellent communication and copywriting skills, and be able to express the company's views creatively.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Brand Representation:
- Serve as the definitive voice and ambassador of ICON Vehicle Dynamics across social media platforms and forums.
- Uphold and enhance the brand image with attention to detail, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
- Maintain ICON's comprehensive brand style guide for social media, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to proactively position ICON as an industry leader.
Content Creation for Suspension Enthusiasts:
- Develop highly engaging content tailored for the suspension and performance enthusiast community, showcasing meticulous attention to technical details.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop visually stunning multimedia content that aligns with brand aesthetics.
- Conduct regular content audits to ensure alignment with brand values and audience preferences.
Platform Management:
- Oversee and optimize the company's presence on major social media platforms, displaying a customer-centric approach in engaging with the audience.
- Utilize platform-specific features to actively involve the audience in discussions about the performance and capabilities of ICON.
- Implement and experiment with emerging trends and features on social media platforms to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Monitor and respond to online reviews and ratings, turning negative feedback into opportunities for positive brand engagement.
Enhanced Customer Engagement:
- Actively engage with targeted performance communities daily, responding promptly to comments, messages, and mentions with a customer-centric mindset.
- Foster a strong online community by initiating and participating in conversations, polls, and discussions to strengthen customer loyalty.
- Develop and implement a proactive customer engagement strategy, including regular Q&A sessions, live chats, and user-generated content campaigns.
- Identify and cultivate brand advocates within the community to amplify positive sentiments.
Collaboration with performance Communities:
- Actively collaborate with overland and off-road forums, clubs, and influencers, showcasing a team player mentality.
- Develop and implement strategies to involve customers in co-creating content and sharing their experiences with ICON products.
Customer-Centric Product Launch Campaigns:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns for new product launches, placing a significant emphasis on customer involvement and feedback.
- Develop narratives that not only highlight product features but also showcase real-world applications and user testimonials.
- Leverage customer feedback from social media channels to iterate and improve products in subsequent launches.
- Conduct post-launch analyses to identify areas for improvement and refine future launch strategies.
Metrics-Driven Approach:
- Utilize analytics tools to meticulously monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and community engagement.
- Drive strategies based on metrics and performance data to optimize brand perception, product awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies to meet or exceed predefined metrics.
- Provide regular reports to the leadership team, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a proven experience in a social media, preferably in the automotive or off-road industry.
- Strong creative skills, an engaging outward personality, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics, and experience with forums.
- A team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A metrics-driven mindset, with a focus on data to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
