We are seeking candidates who are able to provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to our patients. As first impressions are lasting, it is imperative our Pediatric Front Office Staff portray patience, understanding, empathy, and professionalism. We are looking for a long-term employee with a great attitude - A true team player.

Main Responsibilities:

• Room patients while maintaining clean and stocked exam rooms
• Verifies patient information, reviews and updates medical history, and takes vital signs based on appointment types.
• Does not administer but supports immunizations and medications per Provider orders.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following company policies and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations.
• Complies with organizational and HIPAA policies and regulations to ensure patient information is kept confidential.
• Assists in performing various telephone duties such as informing patients of test results, and relaying information and messages, so that communication between the clinic and patients are clear and concise.
• Travels to alternate satellite clinics as needed to cover clinic and patient needs.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Organizational skills with a focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow.
• Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong computer skills, EMR systems (preferred)
• Ability to work well, whether alone or as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of customer service
• History of working with children of all ages

Preferences:

• Lab and Phlebotomy experience with the pediatric population
• X-Ray license or certification - not required
• Clinical background

Schedule:

First 90 days of training are Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm then Four days a week, with one evening shift (until 7 pm) and every other weekend (Saturday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm in Minnetonka OR Sunday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm in Chaska).
