Outpatient Treatment Therapist
We are seeking a therapist to facilitate the clinical process in our Dual-Diagnosis Outpatient Program. SCHEDULE : M-F 9-5 w/ one evening a week
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $31.25 - $40.00 per hour

The following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of IOP/PHP clients including 1:1 therapy sessions and facilitate/co-facilitate groups (1 per day).
- Broad understanding of community resources available.
- Complete bio/psycho/social assessments to determine level of care required, problem areas to be addressed and diagnostic considerations
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plan and continued stay reviews. Maintain all clinical documentation including discharge summaries and instructions
- Provide Mental Health therapy and treatment in accordance with best practices, policies and procedures established by Turning Point and the standards set by professional licensing agencies
- Provide a coordinated approach to the delivery of mental health treatment (case management) by assessing, planning, advocating, linking, referring, and monitoring progress and ensuring clients receive appropriate services to address specific needs and achieve stated goals
- Attend weekly feedback/supervision, monthly staff meetings, clinical training classes and workshops
Qualifications:
- Education: MUST have Master’s degree from accredited college / university
- Licenses: Current license to practice therapy from Utah Dept of Professional Licensing – CMHC, MFT, or LCSW. Associate’s level license is acceptable, and position includes supervision
- Experience: 1 year + working in Behavioral Health or SUD preferred but not required
- Experience working with Medicaid clients or similar highly preferred.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)
- Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient charting, medical necessity
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Empathy and the ability to work with people in distress
