Job description
- Experience leading projects in a digital QC setting or with system deployments
- Blend of scientific and technical experience - being hybrid is key regardless of skillset
- Can deal with fast paced environment
- GxP experience, experience working within a laboratory
Ideally looking for someone who started on the bench being the scientist and got exposed to the technical and digital aspects that come with it (for example taking on an admin role as a scientist and then ultimately flipping into IT)
Need someone with a background with enterprise instrumentation systems or chromatography data systems (there are a variety of them). SoftMax is for molecular devices - SoftMax is the program and SpectraMax is the instrument that they're connecting, plate readers
- Historically SoftMax is well used within this industry, it can be deployed in multiple models but it's a known data integrity - they recently shifted to enterprise and added GxP capabilities. When Eric started at Moderna it was a system that had a CAPA that just said we need to upgrade the system to be compliant but over time money got pushed out and they identified other priorities so now that they're setting up a new facility they want to set it up properly the first time and not have to change it later - this is change that has to happen.
- Chromatography data system - connects to shop floor equipment
- This role will be working hands on with SoftMax, with this role they want someone starting as a BA (knowledge of SoftMax would be perfect) then transfer it to a technical hybrid person supporting configuration, onboarding phase of instruments into platforms, getting one person to start as a BA but knowing in this space you can get people that do both and another starting as a PM.
- Elements of project: the system currently deployed is not enterprise, but there's a template of how it's used, the BA aspect is a lower lift, that's one piece - not starting from scratch. That's always a challenge when bringing in a system no one has used but for this instance the users are familiar, its more taking technology of the new version and gathering requirements for enterprise one compared to the ones of the system already in place
