Job description

Sconehenge is the premier wholesale artisanal scone bakery servicing the SF Bay Area and beyond. We are employee-owned and have been a staple within the Berkeley community for over two decades. We take pride in producing a quality product that people love. We are looking for an experienced bread baker that can join the team and learn quickly our standards and processes. Enthusiasts, students, or home bakers need not apply. We are a mini scone factory.

Position: Baker (Full Time)

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and shaping scones, mixing dough for cookies and almond cakes, and making galettes
• Maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Following food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requires:

• 3-5 years of experience is preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Punctual and reliable
• Food handlers card is preferred but not required
• Ability to learn company standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs of ingredients

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, shift schedule may require one weekend day of work
• Start time: 5 AM

Job Type: Full Time

Salary : $20-$24 per hour W2
