Job Description:
Candidates will have the responsibility to assist application teams in migrating and managing applications on the cloud.
Must be proficient in AWS Cloud, and it would be advantageous to have experience with GCP Cloud.
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate Cloud DevOps Engineer who is eager to self-learn and be available to partner with multiple teams across enterprise to keep the cloud applications and services up and running.
Must be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Supports the application teams in their migration to AWS Cloud.
Manages the applications once migrated to the cloud.
Collaborates with the development, enterprise cloud operations, security, & privacy teams to streamline the Production and DR processes.
Contributes to team efforts in implementing and managing DevOps technologies.
Performs POC on new cloud-based products and services.
Exhibits a thorough understanding of cloud architecture and administration.
Required Skills/Experience
Proficient in AWS Cloud technologies, python scripting, & systems administration.
Hands-on familiarity configuring technologies such as EKS, Terraform, Airflow, Jenkins, ArgoCD, EMR, Spark, Snowflake, RabitMQ, Splunk, DataDog, etc.
Proven experience in Cloud Support, DevOps using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes.
Ability to communicate technical information logically and clearly to non-technical people.
Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment and perform POC.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge on other cloud platforms like GCP is a plus.
