Location : Atlanta, GA (Remote applications will be considered)
The Job: The Buyer will purchase media across all channels – TV, OOH, Digital, etc. They will work closely with Account Strategy & Planning to ensure each tactic is targeted to campaign KPIs. The buyer will negotiate and execute campaigns with multiple vendors and hold them accountable to contracted delivery and reconciliation. Buying works closely with Ad Operations and Marketing Science as the media transitions into ad-serving, optimization, and reporting.
Responsibilities - Evaluate and negotiate CPMs for paid media across all channels and assist Ad Ops where necessary to ensure all self-serve platforms are set up properly.
- Organize contracts, enter buying software, and send IOs to media outlets.
- Update folders and spreadsheets as necessary with any updates or added value negotiated.
- Deliver details to Ad Ops of any media tactics to be delivered via CM 360.
- Manage creative approvals and traffic any traditional/site served media to vendors as needed.
- Monitor campaign delivery and review vendor reports to ensure pacing properly.
- Gather pre & post logs for all linear media and organize for client reporting weekly/monthly.
- Track and reconcile campaigns by budget, placements, impressions, and goals.
- Communicate updates to AS&P, and work with MS to provide reporting mid and post campaign.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification with 3+ years experience buying and managing paid media campaigns, including national and regional markets across multiple channels: national broadcast | cable, spot cable, OTT/CTV, digital, programmatic, audio, OOH, integrations, experiential, etc.
- Experience in STRATA/FreeWheel or similar buying platforms and Invoice Reconciliation.
- Analytical, strategic, and confident in negotiating CPMs and gaining added value for clients.
- Highly motivated, problem-solver, and manage multiple-tasks w/ strict detail and consistency.
- Experience in Google, Facebook, Campaign 360, or GTM/Conversion tracking is a bonus.
