 Company- MPS

Education- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Experience- A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the military, police or security firm is required.

Languages- Fluency in English is required.

• Starting Wage $18.00-20.00/hr (Based on experience)
• Armed and Unarmed.
• Event Based.
• Hiring for NYC. 

Other Requirements:

• Must have 8-hour pre-assignment security guard training course certificate.
• Must have 16 hour on the job security training course certificate or obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Must have and maintain a NYS State Security Guard license.
• Must be able to work full time or part time schedules, including weekends, evening and midnight shifts if needed.

· You must pass all required background and drug screenings.

 

Job Responsibilities: Security Officer may be responsible for the following duties in the assigned area of work: maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors• Provide effective emergency response capability; be alert and respond to any potential or actual breaches of security, unsafe conditions, unusual activity and report these immediately. • Access Control ; • Provide security coverage for conferences and special events. • Prepare incident and patrol reports. • Perform other related duties as required• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols•
