Position Summary:

The Group Director of Business Development oversees the successful execution of the local business development plans at the free-standing Foundations Recovery Network facilities including those that are only providing outpatient services. Direct supervision will be provided to the facility-based Director of Business Development to ensure consistent execution and management of key activities to include productivity of facility-based sales staff, external customer relations, abundant community events and social media posts and robust and effective alumni services.

As a member of the substance use disorder service line, the Group Director of Business Development is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including, but not limited to, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changing in programing/protocols, recruitment, and retention.

The Group Director of Business Development is responsible for the service line strategic marketing plan, enhancing the brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with the VP, CEOs and Directors of Admissions/Intake.

Hours are based on service line needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the SVP of Business Development. 

Prior marketing and/or sales experience in the substance use disorder industry required. Five years minimum experience in business development, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and social media marketing preferred.  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Master of Business Administration or related field highly preferred. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
