Job description

Duggan Interns: Various internships are available for current Duggan Academy
students.

Academic Tutoring / Enrichment Support / LINKS Intern
Description: Work with academic and enrichment teacher to support their Fall teaching/
activities and provide additional tutoring to student in need.

Responsibilities:
• Academic tutoring.
• Assist with academic organizing and planning.
• Assist with making copies.
• Assist with activity coordination.
• Assist with student work reviews.

Internship location: John J. Duggan Academy
Expected hours: varies depending on the student's schedule and internship assignments not
to exceed 10 hours per week.
Dates: from 11/1/2023 to 01/22/2024 for S1; from 1/23/2024 to 6/15/2024 for S2
Rate of pay: $15 dollars per hour.
Total number of students expected to hire: 9

Custodial Support
Description: assist with general upkeep and cleaning of the school building.

Requirements:
• Mobility around the school facility
• Ability to go up and down stairs
• Recycling as directed
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Janitorial work
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
• Internship location: John J. Duggan Academy
• Expected hours: from 2:30pm to 3:30am, (Monday-Thursday).
• Dates: from 11/1/2023 to 01/22/2024 for S1; from 1/23/2024 to 6/15/2024 for S2
• Rate of pay: $15 dollars per hour.
• Total number of students expected to hire: 1
