Manager, Joint Venture Accounting The Manager of Joint Venture Accounting oversees financial transactions across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with joint venture agreements. This position reports to the Vice President of Accounting, and involves managing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and coordinating with joint venture partners. The Manager of Joint Venture Accounting position will have a
hybrid schedule (home/office) and it is based out of our
Herndon, VA office.
Primary Responsibilities - Lead the monthly close process for joint ventures, including establishing close calendars, processing journal entries, and reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Analyze joint venture financial statements, providing variance explanations for balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate with joint venture partners to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data, addressing U.S. GAAP to Local GAAP differences, and managing monthly JV meetings.
- Prepare periodic and annual financial statements for joint ventures, providing management with ad-hoc reporting.
- Timely review and record joint venture investment transactions for minority-owned JV partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure proper management of all joint venture invoicing.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline joint venture accounting procedures.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by the Accounting and Finance leadership team.
- Assist with the annual financial audit.

Experience/Education - Bachelor’s degree in accounting .
- 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on joint venture accounting or related areas.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and experience with financial reporting.

EdgeConneX offers a competitive benefits package. The preferred pay range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. Compensation will be finalized after consideration of the successful applicant’s prior work experience, education level and relevant education, and unique skills.
