Job description
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fort Mill, SC, in finding a Temporary Summer Nanny for their 3-month-old daughter. (The family has a 2-year-old son who will be in daycare and no care will be required) The nanny would typically be needed Wednesday- Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
The best nanny for this family would be caring, compassionate, reliable, organized, and experienced in caring for infants. Finding a nanny who will follow the existing schedule and be attentive to their child's needs is important to the family. Currently, the family is following the baby's cues and using a Snoo for nap times. The responsibilities of the nanny will include creating a learning environment conducive to growth and actively encouraging the child to achieve developmental milestones. Daily activities should include reading, tummy time, playing with toys, going on strolls, and outdoor play (weather permitting). The family values a nanny who is creative in crafting age-appropriate activities. The nanny may be asked to take the child on outings throughout the community, such as the library, storytime, local parks, and other age-appropriate activities.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)
Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level
Playing with the child both inside and outside the home
Doing hands-on learning activities with the child
Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):
Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly
Child’s meal prep
Unloading/loading the dishwasher and cleaning bottles
Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child
Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day
Emptying diaper pail
Pets: The family has a Golden Retriever, and the nanny would be asked to take him on an occasional walk but is not an everyday requirement.
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume

Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
Have a valid driver’s license
Have safe and reliable transportation
Have a minimum of three professional references
Be non-smoking/vaping
CPR and First Aid Certified
Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus
Must be up to date on vaccinations, and TDAP is preferred before starting the position.
Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
This position is from May 2024 - August 2024
Legal pay is offered at $25 - $30 an hour,
negotiable depending on experience
