Job description

ProMedica Physicians Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider to join our healthcare team in the city of Oregon, Ohio, located within minutes of Toledo, Ohio. As a Primary Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering the exceptional primary medical care services to our patients. You will have the opportunity make a significant impact on the health and well-being of individuals and families in our community.

• Conveniently located on the campus of ProMedica Bay Park Hospital
• Practice consists of 1 Physician and 4 APPs

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and medical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
• Educate patients about preventative care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to date patient records using electronic health records systems.
• Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, research, and the best primary care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including networking, councils, and boards.

ProMedica Bay Park Hospital

ProMedica Bay Park Hospital caters to communities east of the Maumee River. Our campus includes a state-of-the-art community hospital with 72 private beds and a professional office building dedicated to doctors' offices and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as a treatment and diagnostic center.

Oregon, Ohio, founded in 1838, is located eight miles east of Toledo. The city is situated on Lake Erie, and its 19,500 residents enjoy access to many water-related activities. Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field
• New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Interest in being a part of leadership committees or councils
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems
