Position: Sr. IT Project Manager
Location: Sunrise, FL ( Hybrid Role )
Type: Contract
Need a well-versed strong Sr. IT Project Manager/ Portfolio Manager who will be leading the Infosec portfolio projects, and they consist of 10-12.
This person will be working directly with the Sr. VP of Security, CFO, CCO, and CFO meeting weekly to provide start reporting updates.
Projects that they need to tackle:
Domain Merger
Business Continuity Planning
Asset Management
Systems Patching and Upgrades
Setting up best practices, policies, and compliance in Change Management
Enhancing Firewalls and the security and tools around the firewalls
Build best practices for Cybersecurity Framework
Able to identify risks, monitor, selection of security controls, and policies, build compliance team, testing and remediation.
Ideally, needs a solid PM that has done this already and can bring their experience to the table. Must be able to hit the ground running quickly, self-starter, organized, self-disciplined, good communicator and confident in their abilities. Able to work Hybrid Agile/Waterfall

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Intake Works with the Director of PMO for a go/no-go decision.
- Phase-Gate Supports the governance structure to evaluate, authorize, and monitor projects as they pass through the project lifecycle.
- Prioritization Evaluates project value to assign resources to the most important projects and starts work at the appropriate time.
- Portfolio Optimization Optimizes techniques used to identify the optimal grouping of projects that maximize the risk-adjusted portfolio value at a given budgetary level
- Portfolio Planning Creates the sequencing and timing of approved projects based on resource constraints and dependencies
- Resource Capacity Planning Assesses future resource utilization of project resources against available capacity to do work, and allocates resources accordingly
- Risk Management Assesses the risk nature of projects and manages portfolio-level risks. Mitigates project risks, safeguarding the integrity and security of project outcomes.
- Communication Communicates all aspects of project and portfolio progress
- Portfolio Reporting and Analytics Analyses and reports against the value and progress of the portfolio
- Portfolio Value Management Evaluates, measures, and tracks project benefits at the portfolio level
- Project Monitoring Measures and tracks project health and performance
- Project Planning: Crafts and executes detailed plans for information security projects, aligning with organizational goals and security standards
- Team Leadership: Leads and coordinates IT and external teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project milestones
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly updates stakeholders and senior management on project progress, risks, and solutions, ensuring informed decision-making
- Budget Management: Oversees and manages project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and financial constraints are adhered to.
- Identifies and facilitates the resolution of any issues that may arise
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Years of Related Experience:
- 10+ years of experience, specifically leading project portfolios IT
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Management, Technical.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification Is preferred
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is highly desirable and not required
- Technical expertise must include PMP, PMI, ITIL, SCRUM, PMBOK, CISSP
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills
- Able to contribute to the big picture, conceptualize outcomes, and identify trends
- Leverages business and technical expertise across disciplines, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge
- Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in Resource Management practices and Change Management techniques
- Flexibility approach and adaptability to a growing, non-structure environment.
