Full Time W2 in Northern VA

6+ years

Position Description/Tasks to be Performed:

Collaborate with members of our engineering team to create and implement website designs and mobile and web application user interfaces. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, unit testing, optimizations, technical documentation and bug fixes. Tasks include:

·       Produce wireframes, workflows, and/or screen mockups

·       Translate mockups into front-end code

·       Design and edit web page or other content

·       Troubleshoot front-end coding and browser compatibility issues

·       Adhere to brand standards

·       Remain current on all topics related to web and user experience design

Professional Skills:

·       Experience in implementing Web design

·       Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout, Web Standards, User Experience (UX)

·       Experience in Responsive Web Design

·       Expertise in cross-platform and cross-browser development experience

·       Angular, MVC, C# experience is a plus

·       Self-starter with positive attitude and strong work ethic

·       Able to handle short deadlines

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Prior experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android (including academic experience) a HUGE plus

Other Requirements:

Must be a United States Citizen

BA/BS degree in Visual Arts, Graphics Design, or related field preferred
