Description/Notes:

To support and ensure coordination and implementation of a Title I schoolwide or targeted assistance program.  Provide leadership on the development of Title I tutors in the implementation of the District’s guaranteed and viable curriculum to ensure all students have a significant opportunity to receive a fair, high-quality education, and close educational achievement gaps.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree
Valid Texas teaching certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Thorough knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
Thorough knowledge of required elements of a Title I schoolwide or targeted assistance program
Knowledge of diverse learners and best practices to address individual needs
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and facilitate adult learning experiences
Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
Ability to provide leadership and programmatic supervision

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
Minimum of 2 years working with at-risk populations preferred
Campus and/or district leadership preferred
Experience developing curriculum and facilitating staff development preferred

Salary Range:

$76,000 Actual salary based on experience
