Job Description
- Essential duties include reviewing pipe and piping component related calculations and material evaluations.
- Prepare and coordinate piping and valve specifications and/or material requisitions, bid evaluations and award recommendations and perform detailed supplier bid technical evaluations and supplier document reviews.
- Candidate should have experience with ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards.
Skills Required
- Extensive of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 piping codes
- Prior experience using an automated procurement system.
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
- EIT/PE Registration
- Previous DOD or DOE project experience
Education/Training/Certifications
- Level One: BS degree in an engineering with a minimum of 6 years’ experience
- Level Two: BS degree in an engineering with a minimum of 9 years’ experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
- Candidates possess the right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship.
