Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for the delivery of process innovation, support, and continuous improvement initiatives for the sales operations team. In addition, you will play an essential role in data integrity; using data to understand and advise on aspects of the sales and quoting process to drive process efficiencies and improvements.
Provides leadership in sales forecasting. Develops promotional quotas and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals. Monitors forecast accuracy. Works with sales, marketing, and distribution to improve operational efficiency. Researches and evaluates economic conditions that may affect the organization’s ability to sell products, protect/increase market share, penetrate new markets, and maintain/improve operating margins. Recommends changes to current sales techniques, procedures, or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends. Develops new reports, dashboards, and tools to meet the information needs of senior sales management. Provides leadership within the team and cross-functionally.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An MBA or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 8 years of related experience.
Requires expert ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information. Expert understanding of financial data and competitive markets. Requires an advanced understanding of market trends and factors and an ability to identify likely impact on the sales of various products.
Must have expert knowledge of SAP query design, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with proven leadership abilities.
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $94,000 to $122,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education. This job will be onsite at our Richardson office Mon-Thurs, WFH on Friday.
