Position Summary
MyAdvice's Onboarding Specialist will set up customers for immediate success within our digital marketing platform by facilitating the implementation process for new accounts. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will educate new clients, help solve technical problems and ensure smooth adoption of our products and services. MyAdvice prioritizes delivering an amazing client experience where this role is responsible for getting them off to a great start.
The ideal candidate is high energy, experienced with web-based technologies, passionate about helping clients, and excels with communication via phone, video and email. Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate those concepts to customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. A collaborative approach is key as this role is expected to contribute ideas and initiate tactical improvements to the overall onboarding process.
*This position can be remote, hybrid or in-office depending on candidate preference and location. MyAdvice has offices in Melville, New York and Lehi, Utah.
Essential Duties
- Be a MyAdvice expert to successfully onboard client in their new services and product suite
- Provide detailed account walkthroughs and assist many new customers with implementation
- Clearly communicate account setup requirements and expectations
- Encourage product adoption for new clients
- Leverage feedback for continuous improvement to the onboarding process
- Juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Develop a deep understanding of customers' business and operational objectives
- Listen carefully to clients and ask clarifying questions to ensure proper use of MyAdvice's tools
- Own and manage customer relationships from the point of sale through successful implementation.
- Respond to internal staff and client emails, chats, and calls regarding implementation
- Complete video and phone calls to ensure that customers are supported during the onboarding process
- Successfully transfer your customer relationships to a customer success manager after onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years in a client-facing product adoption role
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related education
- Web savvy with a general knowledge of HTML, Wordpress, GSuite Products, Google Adwords, Google My Business, and Google Analytics
- Professional project management experience
- Experience providing instruction, demonstrations or teaching clients
- High speed internet connection to facilitate a remote working environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Position Details
- Base Salary: $40k-$50k depending on experience
- Bonuses for Performance, Positive Google Reviews and Client Referrals ($2k-$4k average)
- Position Type: Full-time, Exempt
- Location: Remote, hybrid or in-office in Melville, NY or Lehi, UT per employee preference
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (no nights or weekends); Typical business hours based on your time zone
- For example: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm including a 0-60 minutes for a lunch break per employee preference and manager’s approval
- During training (typically the first 2 months), you'll be required to match your manager's schedule of 8am-5pm EST, after which you can adopt your preferred, approved schedule.
- Travel: May require occasional local or national travel (less than 5% of the time, if at all ).
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (90% at desk, 10% of time walking); Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and use typical office equipment (computers, keyboards, printer, etc.)
