Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 87,500 sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description
- Knowledge as it was imparted within the framework of a 3-year technical training (e.g. as a process mechanic for KKT) and expanded by a relevant further training as a technician. This function requires at least 3 years of experience in the field of automation control production and special knowledge in tool sampling and process finding / test execution
- Technical expertise in the area of PLC source code (Siemens, Alan Bradley) necessary
- Good knowledge of the processing properties of plastics
- Good IT-User knowledge (MES, SAP, MS-Office)
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Self-motivated and design motivation

Qualifications
- Independent implementation of standardized tool qualification including complete sampling documentation to ensure a smooth production start-up, taking into account the required component quality.
- Independent application of systematic tool sampling (GR process development) internally as well as with external suppliers / customers
- Independent execution of function sampling
- Systematic determination of all relevant process parameters as well as problem solving and optimization of all automation tasks
- Independent implementation of qualification runs
- Reviewing and modifying of documentation in accordance as needed with valid specifications (e.g. SOPs and Work Instructions)
- Close coordination and provision of process engineering expertise in cross-divisional and cross-location teams and meetings (e.g. Quality, Production, Mold Engineering)
