ITC Infotech is looking for an  AWS solution architect to join our US Team

Location:  Winston, Salem, NC ? Hybrid - In office Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Remote Thursday, Friday

What you?ll do: 

• You will understand technical, business & application requirements from client discussions, and RFPs and Translate them into system / technical requirements and build Proposals, Solutions, Cloud suitability, develop business cases and a Cloud adoption roadmap.
• You will lead technical workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions, end-to-end architecture, networking, provisioning, and management across a Global footprint. 
• You will be responsible for Product Evaluation, Performing POC / Pilot of such identified technology products/solutions/platforms, and providing management insights to aid the decision process.
• With the experience you bring you will design, set up, and oversee the overall AWS Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instances, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, network architecture, and HA / DR strategies, etc.
• You will create a bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as AWS LZ, AWS Organization, Account Factory, VPC, etc.) and tools.
• You will have troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn new technologies in complex distributed systems.

 

Must Haves:

• Bachelor?s Degree required.
• 10-15 years of experience as an AWS Solutions Architect 
• Proven experience leading technical workshops, advising clients on architectural and strategic IT decisions in Enterprize AWS environments. 
• Proven Stakeholder Management and Interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with an Onshore-offshore model. 
• Experience in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Define Migration strategy to move applications to the cloud.
• Develop AWS technical design, thought leadership, architecture blueprints, and detailed documentation.
• Demonstrateable knowledge of the AWS platform and tools.
• Must have a natural drive to transition manual steps into automation.
• CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
• Advanced English written and verbal. 

Preffered Certification requirements:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate; AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

As an AWS solution architect, you will lead technical workshops, advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions and design highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organisations understand best practices around advanced AWS cloud-based solutions.
