Our Finance team performs a critical role in providing visibility and accountability through digital tools, new ways of looking at the business and projects that significantly improve the way our business operates. This director position is a strategic thought-leadership role requiring strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities and will manage a team and deliver on a broad range of critical financial activities including financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business analytics. A strong understanding of merchandising metrics is preferred as we continue to drive more common language with our internal customers. You will be responsible for delivering a new way of working in Global Sourcing Finance – pushing the team to leverage new tools and visibility to quickly connect dots across the business activities and visualize relevant data that helps draw insights that enable the business to plan and take quick action.
Summary
Lead the strategic (LRP) and annual (AOP) planning processes including development, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives and plans
Drive simplification / clarity of KPIs and Metrics across the business that are more relevant to our customers
Work with leadership and cross-functionally with business owners and finance support teams to develop targets, identify opportunities, and manage risks
Build strong partnerships with Sourcing and Merchant teams to drive business results and define the strategic initiatives by understanding business trends, assessing opportunities and risks, and effectively influencing business results
Develop, communicate, build support for, and implement business strategies, plans, and practices; analyze costs and forecasts and incorporate them into business plans
Evaluate operational processes; measure outcomes to ensure desired results; identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Promote a customer environment; and demonstrate adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce; recruit, select, and develop talent; support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning

Driving the Strategic Direction of the Planning Process: Lead the Global Sourcing planning process, partnering across all functional business partners, and aligning across the organization and senior leadership as we set both short-term and long-term financial plans.
Producing Informative Financial Materials: Creating and presenting financial information to leadership in a clear and concise manner and producing compelling stories and visuals; Drive a cohesive set of reporting and analytics tools that help us simplify our work and progress into a more insights and analytics focused team.
Being a Trusted Advisor: Developing strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. Serve as the go-to for analytics – working across the organization to solve issues, address pain points and implement growth initiatives.
Practicing Continuous Process Improvement: Supporting our transformation journey by analyzing, proposing, and presenting solutions and process improvements to senior management for approval; and implementing new systems/processes or enhancements
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
4+ years’ experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area
2 years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
2 years of people leadership experience
2 years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience
Retail Merchandise Finance or external CPG experience.
Strategic Planning, Working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
Master of Business Administration
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
