Overview
The Principal Solution Analyst will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions that leverage the SAP Hybris ecosystem to meet our business objectives. Your expertise will guide the development of high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement, streamline operations, and drive sales.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
- Deep understanding of the SAP Hybris Commerce, Marketing, Cloud, and Data Hub platforms, focusing on leveraging these systems to achieve business goals and enhance customer experiences.
- Knowledgeable in configuring, administering, and customizing the SAP Hybris platform to meet specific business requirements, emphasizing the system's capabilities without the need for deep programming expertise.
- Familiarity with the integration of SAP Hybris with external systems using Data Hub and ImpEx for efficient data transfer and synchronization, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP Hybris and other enterprise systems such as SAP ERP.
- Proficiency in understanding and utilizing APIs for connecting SAP Hybris with various services and applications, including developing and managing API-led connectivity for extending platform capabilities and integrating third-party solutions.
- Experience with deploying SAP Hybris solutions in cloud environments and understanding cloud platform basics (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure), including cloud architecture principles, cloud storage, and computing resources to optimize SAP Hybris performance and scalability.
- Awareness of database concepts and how they apply to SAP Hybris applications, ensuring data integrity, performance, and the ability to handle data-related challenges specific to e-commerce platforms.
- Understanding of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS) and their role in creating user-friendly interfaces, with an emphasis on how they integrate with SAP Hybris solutions for a cohesive user experience.
- Insight into security best practices and compliance standards relevant to e-commerce and digital platforms, ensuring that SAP Hybris solutions adhere to these guidelines for protecting customer data and maintaining trust.
- Exposure to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices and how they can be applied to SAP Hybris projects to improve development efficiency, reliability, and facilitate automated testing and deployment processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for SAP Hybris solutions.
- Design and implement effective and innovative SAP Hybris solutions that meet or exceed performance and scalability expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP Hybris solutions with business processes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the business and technical teams, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of SAP Hybris projects, from initial concept through design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP Hybris features, technologies, and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Technology Qualifications:

- Expertise with Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum or Kanban, with the ability to participate in and facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. This includes a commitment to adopting agile principles for rapid, iterative development cycles, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, and adapting to changing business needs efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Management, Business Intelligence
- 5+ years of work experience in a business or technology role working closely with functions outside of IT understanding business processes and needs
- High level of experience in systems development lifecycle models such as Agile or other traditional project management principles
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of business processes and the ability to design, configure, and deploy solutions to support them
- Experience leading Behavior-Driven-Design (BDD) process
- Experience gathering of requirements to facilitate automation of acceptance tests
- Proven record of building consensus and buy-in with key stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate Agile delivery values of openness, commitment, respect, courage, and focus

- Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
