Job description
Our Facility is looking for a full-time faculty Hematology/Oncology physician to join its team of 11 Medical Oncologists, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and 3 Radiation Oncologists. This is an academic opportunity to join the university hospital serving East Texas and beyond. Ideal Candidate: BC in Medical Oncology (required), Internal Medicine (preferred), and Hematology (preferred) Eligible for licensure in Texas. Excellent communication skills Team-oriented and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing academic environment Position Details: This is an employed faculty position with Our Facility.20+ patients/day Monday-Friday, optional outpatient clinic opportunities 1 weekend on-call every 9 weeks Infusion Center Pharmacy offering oral oncolytic medication, dedicated oncology pharmacist 340B drug pricing program Oncology Research department and Genetics program Survivorship program, Palliative care program, Psychosocial program On-site registered dietician As a partner with the University of Texas System, our Graduate Medical Education is an integral component at Our Facility and is growing rapidly.
