Job description

General Summary of Position:

The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities oversees all aspects of the Student Conduct Code and the student conduct process. Additionally, the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities coordinates Clery Act compliance efforts for the Division of Student Affairs. Education and personal development is the foundation from which the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities carries out its mission of caring for students, treating students equitably, and making ethical decisions.

The Associate Director will assist the Director in all day-to-day functions of the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities and serve as a member of the Associate Dean of Student Affairs for Compliance and Violence Prevention's team focused on fostering civility on campus and support for students. The Associate will collaborate on leadership and vision for the department, conduct investigations regarding alleged misconduct, and will collaborate with multiple offices throughout the university to support the mission of the office, division and university. Day-to-day responsibilities will include the coordination of conduct process (administrative) tasks, conduct and manage investigations, and the management of student issues on an individual basis.
