DigitalOptometrics, a growing, exciting company in the telehealth field, seeks a Warehouse Coordinator at our New Hyde Park, New York office. Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for proper staging and shipping of product and to verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment by performing the following duties.

We have developed software which permits patients to receive a comprehensive eye health examination by a licensed Optometrist located distant from the patient. Exams are completed on average in less than 30 minutes and includes an important benefit of social distancing between patient and Optometrist.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Prepare paperwork, including shipping documents.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencil identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Check labels, put packing slips on before loading, label up hazard if required.
• Enter orders for shipment.
• Insert items into containers.
• Stack cartons onto skids
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Move shipments from shipping to storage or work area.
