Job description
Performance Guarantees (PG) represent contractual commitments that Cigna makes to clients on a variety of metrics from Service Level, Clinical Engagement, to Financial Guarantees. With the healthcare market rapidly evolving the requests for new and differentiated PGs continues to grow requiring a more flexible operation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing oversight on performance guarantee inventory, reserving, planning and forecasting for Pharmacy Discount PGs.
Partner with GD&A, Pharmacy Econ, Pharmacy Underwriting, Contracting and Sales teams’ to understand PG results and communicate risks and opportunities as appropriate.
Act as subject matter expert on specific PG initiatives and projects, ensuring adherence to the end-to-end performance guarantee process
Continuously evolve management reporting to reflect priorities and track important trends.
Drive process improvements and efficiencies through-out the performance guarantee process.
Qualifications/ Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field strongly preferred
4-5+ years of financial analysis or related experience strongly preferred
Highly developed organizational and analytical skills.
Highly motivated and ability to work independently
Exceptional ability to work productively in a matrix management environment across departments and position level.
Advanced knowledge of personal computer financial software applications, including Excel spreadsheets and Hyperion Planning, as well as other tools for analysis of financial data.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and process efficiency focus
