Position Description:
The Department of Philosophy seeks applications for a lecturer in Philosophy. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1st, 2024. The lecturer will be responsible for teaching the equivalent of four undergraduate courses. Areas of Specialization ( AOS ) and Areas of Competence ( AOC ) are open, but the department has particular teaching needs in early modern philosophy, philosophy of race, general philosophy of science, philosophical issues concerning artificial intelligence, and ancient Chinese philosophy.
The position is for one year. Keywords:*Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate in Philosophy or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins.
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is desired.
