YOUR ROLE Driven by a growth mindset, as a Senior Optimization Manager for FinanceBuzz you will use audience insights and data to optimize landing pages for revenue and user experience across 1,000,000s of sessions per month. Your optimization efforts will aim to maximize revenue, media margin, and improve LTV and retention.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities. Data is at the heart of this job, but the numbers need to be paired with creativity and marketing insights to fully understand target audiences and match these audiences with financial products from the world's largest brands.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Manage, analyze, optimize and scale current landing pages to increase revenue and margin across Paid Search, Social, and Native Channels
- Use Looker to dig into the data to analyze performance, identify trends, and find opportunities to improve performance
- Research, test, and launch new advertisers on our platform
- You will be a core part of the performance marketing team and will collaborate closely with the Account Management, Copywriting, and User Acquisition teams
- Test and optimize landing pages to align landing page content to ad copy to improve conversion
- Ideate and implement tests including copy, UI/UX changes, and offer order to improve page metrics
- Identify trends across products and/or platforms and use them to make recommendations
- Assist in developing content strategy that both engages the user and meets target KPI metrics
- Execute Device Level A/B tests, mostly focused on featured advertisers and content theme
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED - A strong sense of ownership and a hunger to win
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to develop cross-department relationships and keep stakeholders informed of performance and move initiatives forward
- 3-5 years of experience with Google Search; planning, managing, and optimizing Google Search campaigns
- Experience optimizing on page experience and measuring against deep funnel advertiser KPIs using Optimizely or Google Optimize
- Experience using tracking/reporting platforms and/or BI tools
- Analytical skills; a natural inclination to "follow the data" and making decisions and recommendations based on data - must have the ability to turn data into optimizations
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.) and the ability to analyze large sets of data
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
BONUS POINTS FOR - Agency experience working across multiple brands
- Experience with reporting/analytics software such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
- Experience working in a CMS (ex. Wordpress)
- A general interest and knowledge of personal finance
- Superb direct response writing experience for customer copy
- Forecasting and budgeting
TOTAL REWARDS & COMPENSATION Salary range: $100,000-$130,000
Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato's Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Launch Potato is a performance-driven company, which means once you are hired, future increases will be based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
