Job description
Seeking a Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Orange, CA.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!
Salary is between $115,000 - $150,000 per year (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in development of project staff
- Coordinating on-site with corporate office activities
- Organizing and overseeing jobsite administration
- Assisting in the Procurement of Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Developing, Monitoring, updating, and communicating the progress schedule and its
- periodic revisions
- Scheduling in-house self-perform in a timely manner following company established
- procedures.
- Managing the direct labor force and maintaining labor / subcontractor relations
- Managing subcontractor schedules (through and in coordination with Superintendent and other necessary project staff), quality of work, coordination with other trades, and payments
- Coordinating cos-progress targets with production
- Creating and maintaining (through Superintendent and other team members) a safe jobsite environment
- Identifying and resolving all changes
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with the Owner, design professionals, building officials, local businesses and police and fire departments
Qualifications:
- Construction Management Degree highly desired, Business, Engineering or Architecture
- Construction Field Experience (MEP, Carpentry Trades, Field Engineer, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent)
- Ground-up project experience
- Off-Site Project Experience
- Wet/Dry Utility Experience
- Proficient in reading Construction Drawings including Architectural, Structural,
- Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing
- Construction Project Budgeting and Cost Coding / Control knowledge and experience
- Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat for markup of .pdf documentation
- MS Project Scheduling
- Project Management Software experience (ProjectSight Experience a plus)
- Basic Knowledge of Contracts
