Job Summary
Nissan of Venice is looking for an Automotive Service Technician of all skill levels who enjoys working with a team and providing customers with a great experience to join their team in Venice, Florida. This job is for a full-time, salary Technician / Skilled Labor / Contractor position. The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of service operations in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform all levels of automotive service work, ranging from oil changes to complex repairs
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as with Nissan factory guidelines
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and AC
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Document work performed on service orders and confer with service advisors
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies through continual education
Requirements
- ASE Certification is preferred but not required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
