We a leading hospital dedicated to providing exceptional physical therapy services to our patients. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients medical history, physical condition, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve patients mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall function.
- Provide hands-on manual therapy interventions as needed to address musculoskeletal impairments and promote healing.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards and insurance requirements.
- Maintain professional licensure and stay current with advancements in physical therapy practice through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of clinical protocols and best practices within the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy or related field required.
- Current licensure from the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy required.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting optimal outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation preferred.
