Job description
Objective: In this strategic capacity, the incumbent will enhance the reliability of rotating equipment across various industrial settings, particularly in chemical plants or refineries. The role involves a collaborative approach with engineering and maintenance professionals to establish and refine company-wide best practices and procedures.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership : Spearhead initiatives that foster collaboration with engineers at different plant locations in areas of troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and the development of operational standards.
- System Implementation and Training : Deploy and enhance systems for monitoring the health of compressors, ensuring comprehensive training for relevant personnel.
- Consultation in Capital Projects : Contribute insights to capital projects with a focus on equipment maintainability and reliability.
- Overhaul Supervision : Manage and oversee significant overhauls of key machinery, including compressors and pumps, during scheduled maintenance periods.
- Problem-solving and Analysis : Employ systematic approaches to problem analysis and troubleshooting to determine underlying causes.
- Technical Proficiency : Use advanced software and tools for vibration analysis, data handling, and project planning.
- Relationship Building : Establish and nurture productive relationships with essential plant personnel, including management and technical staff.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably with a Mechanical specialization.
At least twelve years of Advanced high-pressure rotary and piston compressors experience.
Ten plus years in Petro-chemicals or refineries
A Professional Engineers License (Nice to Have)
