Job description
Forklift Operator
Optimum RV, a growing full-service RV Dealer, is seeking a Forklift Operator!
Summary:
We’re looking for qualified candidates to fill an immediate opening for the Forklift Operator position. Experience operating forklifts and maneuvering trailers is a must! This is a full-time position at our rapidly growing facility!
Responsibilities:
Sweep, pick up trash and debris, empty garbage cans to keep the lot clean and professional in appearance.
Keep units and equipment secure from weather
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Move units in and out of the service department throughout the day as directed by the management team.
Maintain the inventory yard, ensuring that all units are parked in the appropriate rows as directed by the Sales Manager
Must work outdoors even in inclement weather
Towing experience preferred
Operate a tractor and/or forklift
Drive RV units as required
Experience using generators and operating slide-outs
Ability to repair small items and identify problem units
All other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Towing experience preferred
Essential Characteristics:
Directed by the Sales Manager
Ability to work outdoors even in inclement weather
Ability to operate a tractor and/or forklift
Ability to drive an RV
Experience using generators and operating slide-outs
Ability to repair small items and identify problem units
