Job description
As an intelligence editor on our team, you’ll help your client develop and craft analytic products to respond to National priorities. Using your understanding of various platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. You’ll validate the information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for US IC-wide products. As the authority on Analytic writing tradecraft, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in analytic production, and share your methodologies with other analysts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience working as a writer-editor or intelligence analyst in an IC organization
- Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products
- Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis through all stages of the intelligence production process
- Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy
- Ability to prepare intelligence assessments and other written products with an emphasis on logical argumentation and analytic clarity
- Bachelor's degree
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products
- Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 "Analytic Standards" and ICD 206 "Sourcing Requirements" to the production of all-source intelligence products
- Ability to prepare intelligence assessments and other written products with an emphasis on clear organization, concise and logical presentation
- Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
- Possession of excellent writing, organizational, communication, and analytical skills
CLEARANCE:
- TS/SCI with CI polygraph minimum
