My client is expanding! We have increased our fully "Made in USA" product line and manufacturing space considerably, so are looking to further grow our team starting with the sales department. In order to create the best direction, planning, and opportunities for our sales team, we are looking for an experienced sales manager.

You must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the telephone, and via e-mail. You must be comfortable managing and holding teams accountable and capable of assisting with sales and business processes. Having experience working with contact management/sales software, the full Google Suite apps, and Netsuite/Oracle software or a similar program is preferred.

What You Will Be Doing

Tasks:

- Oversees and directs a team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence. Assists in the development of new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Sets quotas, analyzes performance data, provides coaching and feedback.
- Recruits, hires, and trains members of the sales team with the help of the HR team. Develops training programs including continuous development training for the sales team.
- Adept in the sales processes, policies, and protocols. Able to draft all documents required for the sales process and following/setting protocols for the sales department. Encouraged and expected to interact with customers and leads utilizing phone, email, and social media page
- Oversees the completion of sales to ensure quality customer service, accurate internal and external forms, and overall quality sales by the sales team.
- Accountable for the planning of trade show booths, artwork for e-blasts, and pulling of samples/supplies required for trade shows and the travel & interaction required for such trade shows.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Familiar with and engages in learning opportunities to stay up to date on a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Not a retail position. You must have experience in a remote sales atmosphere (in-office work with remote sales), and be willing to travel to trade shows.
