Job description

At The Wise Seeker we are looking for a 3D Modeler to work with one of our clients: a computer software company that offers IT staffing and consulting services.

Location: Waterloo IA US

Tasks

• Utilize Creo software to create detailed 3D models of our clients products (Cores Patterns Gaiting etc.) based on design concepts and technical specifications
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate translation of ideas into 3D models
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure the accuracy integrity and consistency of the 3D models
• Design model and execute foundry simulations

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a 3D Modeler with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating detailed 3D models using Creo software
• 2 years of experience using Creo Parametric (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) and other relevant Creo modules for 3D modeling or other 3D modeling software
• Familiarity with engineering principles such as tolerances assembly requirements and design for manufacturability
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in 3D models
• Experience working in a foundry
• Pattern development experience
• Foundry simulation software experience (MAGMA)
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline

• This position will work 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm CT) onsite in Waterloo IA.
  
• Salary: USD $3500 $3800 / hr
  
• W2 contract
