Summary
- Department: Adlt Psychiatry ICU Unit 001
- Shift Timing: 19:00 - 07:30 Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hour shift
- Per Week: 36 Hours
- 1:6 patient ratio, 12-bed unit, 2 nurses/2 assistive staff Behavioral Health Unit with med/surg level medical needs. Cerner EMR, ceil blue scrubs Medical/Psychiatric Disorders Altered mental status Hallucinations Alcohol withdrawal Overdose- polysubstance abuse CHF/COPD AKI/Rhabdomyolysis DM Schizophrenia Bipolar/Depression/Mania CAD Dementia
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- ssess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
