SENIOR ACCOUNTING OPPORTUNITY boutique advisory practice accounting and tax compliance for key clients experienced intermediate or senior accountant flexible between contract or employment initially part time – around 50% open to equity KCL Advisory Limited is a boutique advisory practice specialising in business re organization and deal oriented advisory work. There is one principal (Anthony Harris) and I moved to Nelson in 2021. Clients are generally longstanding and located throughout New Zealand. Accounting and tax services are a natural adjunct to advisory services and there is presently an opportunity provide such services to a select group of key clients. I am seeking an experienced accountant – at the very least at an intermediate level. You will be hands on and will have a prime responsibility for the completion of accounting and tax compliance requirements for an initial set of key clients who each have some complexity to structure. The role at the outset is likely around 50% of FTE. The necessary tax agency and xero functionality is in place. The base line requirement is to see the accounting and tax compliance needs of my key clients met pro actively, consistently and reliably. You will have the maturity and prior experience necessary for this role, be highly accurate, software literate, and have the capacity to deal with the variety inherent in the role. Remuneration will be competitive depending on qualifications and experience, and I am open to how the arrangement might be structured.
