Job Title: Welder

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: $24-27/hour

Job Summary of the Welder:  Immediate job opening for a 1 st shift, full time Welder for large and small weldments. This is a first shift position and pay is commensurate with experience.

  Job Responsibilities of the Welder : 

· Welding for small and large weldments.

· Must be able to layout parts and fabricate as needed.

· Must be able to read prints and pass weld test.

· Must be able to produce all parts as per blueprint requirements in a timely manner to meet production schedule.

· Required to keep work area clean and organized.

Education & Experience of the Welder :

·2+ years of experience in welding in a Manufacturing environment.

· Ability to read blueprints.

· Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions and decimals.

· Must be able to utilize various measurement tools including but not limited to square, angle square, calipers, tape measure.

· Use of wrenches, air tools, handheld grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling and frequent lifting required.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 pounds.

· Ability to stand / or be on your feet all day.

· Ability to work a 1 st shift.
