ABOUT THIS PRE-ETS SKILLS TRAINER JOB

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, although specific hours are determined by your supervisor. Please note that occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on the demands of the job duties.

As a Pre-ETS Skills Trainer, your responsibilities include aiding students in crafting resumes, overseeing their progress in meeting curriculum requirements, and keeping parents informed about their child's advancement. You participate in networking events and work with school staff, employers, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) to update them on program advancements.

Additionally, you coordinate internships tailored to students' abilities and interests, arrange job sampling experiences, handle travel arrangements, and provide on-site job coaching. You stay on top of things by conducting weekly progress assessments and ensuring timely documentation, including monthly update reports to referring counselors. It's an incredibly fulfilling role, and you feel good making a difference every day!
