Job description
Reason for need or vacancy: Provider leaving Baystate were already short staffed.
Start date needed/work schedule etc: ASAP. 4 days/week with 1 weeknight of inhouse call as well as 1 weekend/month/
LOA: Currently approved through June 24 I would expect a few more months needed.
EMR system: Cerner
Credentialing time frames: 90 Days 120 if non licensed.
Covid19 vaccination requirements: Required (bylaw) Do not need boosters can sign declination or provide booster documents.
Will you accept a Physician NP or PA: MD
Average # of patients per day: 68 patients/day.
Most Common Cases: When covering the OP office they will do consults and physicals. When covering IP (Gyn) it is mainly operative deliveries or CSections. Can also do ED consults.
Procedures: operative deliveries and C sections
Inpatient or outpatient setting or mix: Both
Age Range: 17
Call requirements: In house call. 1 night/week 1 weekend per month. This is required.
Support staff onsite: OP office has 4 RN s 3 front desk staff 5 MA s. Dept is made up off 3 MD s and 8 APP s. Full nursing staff on site for IP 1:1.
Board Certification requirements/preferences: Must be BE/BC OB/GYN
Any additional certifications Required: N/A
Willing to wait on a MA license for clean candidates : Strong preference on licensed but will consider unlicensed.
Expenses: Will do all expenses if the provider needs flights in however it would be to and from maybe one midway through the assignmen
