Job description
Large Ophthalmic organization in Northern NJ (Wayne, NJ Area) Medical Biller.
-Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
-Knowledge of Nextech/Athena billing process
-Knowledge of medical policies per insurance carrier
-Knowledge of ophthalmology terminology
-Retina knowledge preferred
-Experience verifying insurance benefits a plus
-Ability to understand an insurance claim (Explanation of Benefits)
-Understanding of the insurance denial process
_Experience speaking to insurance companies
Job Type: Full-time 9:30-6 Or 10-6:30
