Job description

The Business Analyst for Data and Analytics will serve as a critical member of the team led by the Chief Data Officer (CDO) at Naylor Association Solutions. The role will focus on the creation and management of key dashboards and datasets to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This team member will work closely with the Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Account Management teams to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations. The Business Analyst will also oversee the implementation of projects and processes emerging from machine learning models, further enabling organizational effectiveness and growth.
The preferred candidate for this position will be local to our Alpharetta, GA, Gainesville, FL, or McLean, VA offices, however, we will consider qualified candidates who would work remotely.
- Collaborate with functional departments within the company to provide data-driven insights into business trends and the impact of marketing activities on performance metrics.
- Define and monitor KPIs, customer acquisition and retention trends, and other business metrics across different departments, channels, and products to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Leverage AI models to produce reporting to enable increased performance and efficiency of Sales, Account Management, and Marketing teams.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including CRM, Marketing Automation Platforms, and Google Analytics, to construct a comprehensive view of campaign and program effectiveness.
- Manage timelines and communicate project details to internal teams and external vendors, ensuring all parties are well-informed and aligned.
- Prepare and deliver formal presentations of your data analyses to both the marketing team and senior management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in BI Platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or PowerBI is essential.
- Expert proficiency in Excel is required.
- Familiarity of reporting and data models in key business platforms such as Salesforce, Concur, ADP, Marketo, and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of Redshift, SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual with a capability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
