Shift Manager


The Adobi Flats Shift Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by running great work shifts and meeting Adobi Flats standards. You take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed and are willing to help and guide others. Key responsibilities include making sure Team Members complete all assigned duties, inventory management, and financial accountability. All the while serving safe, quality food in a fast and friendly manner. The Shift Manager works with their leader on setting restaurant's goals and create a plan to achieve targets and objectives. Meeting these goals, the Shift Manager doesn't work alone, on the contrary, they lead their team via direct coaching, on floor training and follow-up, shoulder to shoulder working alongside Management peers toward their specific responsibilities in the restaurant. They will be assigned staff members that the Shift Manager will take professional accountability in their training and growth. It will be "their" personal team. The AM will guide their team and follow up on their progress, providing coaching and direction to improve performance. You will also ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for all employees to work and customers to visit. A successful candidate will have a positive attitude and good communications skills. Job Requirements and Essential Functions


• High School Diploma or GED, College or University Degree preferred


• 1-3 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility


• Basic personal computer literacy


• Strong preference for internal promote from Shift Manager position


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Must pass background check criteria and drug test


• Must have reliable transportation


• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills


• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time


• ServSafe certified. (We can help provide direction here)


Job Type: Full-time
