Director of Athlete Performance

Primary Purpose:
The Director of Athlete Performance is responsible for leading the Pacific Athletics Athlete Performance program with a specific focus on strength and conditioning program design, implementation, and supervision for intercollegiate teams; teaching proper speed, agility, weight lifting and conditioning methods and techniques; motivating student-athletes to train, condition and perform to their highest potential.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative but not definitive of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requires extended periods of standing and walking. Occasional sitting, climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching. Frequent lifting in excess of 50 pounds.


Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work performed primarily in a gymnasium or clinical environment . Outdoor and indoor work will be necessary on a regular basis. A non-traditional work week, hours, and days will be required to fulfill department needs. Expected to work weekdays, and weekends and may include holidays. Extensive travel is required to support student-athletes in-season athlete performance program.


Valid drivers license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the Universitys fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.



Hiring Range: $66,560.00 - $90,960.00 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
