Job description
We are looking for a successful Director of Operations with a minimum of 10 years experience in the corn ethanol industry to join our team in South Dakota. This individual will be a key player in the development and optimization of our production processes, as well as the implementation of new technologies in bio-fuels. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field and have at least 10 years of experience in operations management, chemical production, and/or manufacturing production. As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the optimization of production processes, the implementation of new technologies in bio-fuels, and leading the operations team to ensure the smooth and successful execution of our strategies. The Director of Operations will oversee the production management of our affiliated facilities. This role is responsible for identifying, developing and managing process improvement methodologies and facilitates the definition of new and/or improved operational processes within the company to meet new business goals and objectives. Employment for this position is conditioned upon successfully passing certain pre-employment requirements and requires travel up to 3 days a week to multiple locations in South Dakota.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field preferred. Graduate degree preferred
10 years of experience in operations management in chemical production, manufacturing, or other related organizations. Experience in the bio-fuels/ethanol industry is a MUST!5-7 years of work experience in process improvement capacity in chemical production, manufacturing, or other related organizations. Ability to effectively manage projects and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Must have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
